It is the day, the day where my parents arrived in Melbourne on last?s last?s last Sunday. It is already one and half year that I didn?t see my parents, missed them so much. My parents brought a lot of things for me and my brother. On the first day on Monday, like usual we went around Melbourne driving eating air. Although we been to Melbourne before, but we aren?t familiar with the Melbourne and we have to drive around to find our way. Of course we get lost a lot of time, making illegal U-turns, ignoring no turning sign, speeding, driving on the tram lane, being horned by people for switching lane the last minutes, get lost on the freeway and have to travel a extra a few kilometers in order to find the nearest viable exits.
We dined in a Vietnamese restaurant on Tuesday with my dad friend. It was really nice; we have a lot of those Vietnamese hawkers? varieties. Then we droved to the Melbourne International Airport through the metropolitan ring road as my father want to familiarize the road to the airport. Then we had go ?yam cha? for the past few days in Box Hill as the dim sum over there is not bad. Imagine driving from bundoora every afternoon just for yamcha. Actually we don?t know any better place to eat out.
After we picked up my brother from Ballarat, we spend a week of vacation in Rye. We pretty much stayed in the resort for the whole week. It was good as we are able to spend some time with our family and we watched a few TVB series that I burned earlier. I even bought my external DVD burner there and burned from there.

I bought a new DVD burner again, I bought the very same pioneer 16X OEM again. But this time, I bought a different casing brand although it is the same Aluminium 5.25 external enclosure, this time the casing are able to slide and doesn?t require an external adapter as it is all build in this time with a internal fan. The price for the DVD burner with casing overall is 130A$ which are cheaper then the last time that I brought the earlier one. Well, at least buying separately is much cheaper than buying those branded and assembled External DVD burner which can cost about 150A$(pc fairs price) - 190A$ office work discounted price.
I also bought an USB dongle on that day besides the external DVD burner and a spindles of DVD-R discs. My mother gave me her old phone; it is quite a fairly new phone as she seldom uses it. It is an SE k700i, this model is about a year old and this phone is almost phasing out due to superseeded by the SE S720 and the new SE k750i. I spend a few hours yesterday trying to find some program to upload it into my phone. I found a 2MB Chinese ? English Dictionary  J2ME supported phone should be able to use this JAVA program. I also uploaded a periodic table, a scientific calculator and heaps lots of JAVA games. I still have the java program with me but you will definitely need a USB dongle to install the java application on your phone.
The USB data cable that my father bought from Malaysia is very slow and now I am only using the USB BlueTooth dongle for data transfers. The memory in the mobile phone is really low with no expansion slots for memory cards. 42 MB are used almost completely when I take some videos and uploaded 4 or 5 high quality MP3s. How great if I have SE k750i.
I recently watched the whole series of the LOST series season 1 as my brother burned it to me during the holidays. It was really good and I even burned a few copies and passed them to my friends. I can?t wait for season 2. Here is the list of movies that I watched, Chobits Animes, Full Metal Alchemist Anime, Prince Shadows TVB Series and a few other movies like Team America where bloody moron puppets acted like what they are.

I finally decided to drop microbiology 2 and forgoed my chance to do medical microbiology 1 and 2 during the third year to do general pathology instead. My exams results for the previous semester come out last week, it wasn?t too bad. I got 3 credits and 1 pass for human physiology. Anyway that?s for now.
