Gong Xi Fa Cai! Gong Xi Fa Cai! May the Chinese Ney Year of the Dog bring Happiness, Love, Peace & Success to you and your family! Wishing all my visitors the very best of health, weath, prosperity, longevity, and my Gods abundant blessing and grace continue to flow towards you. It has been along time since my previous updates and you can see some of my friends like the obvious yingjia bugging me to updates. I finally manage to get my lazy ass to post something. I might as well do a major blog revamp again if I manage to find some good free PHP hosting. My summer holidays are going to be ending soon, and I still never been to anywhere except for a movie on Corpse Bride. I just cant imagine when everyone asking hows your holiday when the uni reopen. I pretty much spend the whole holiday watching TVB and American series. I have finished the Sliders season 1,2 and 3, the Dark Angel season 1, Dead Like Me season 1, Friends season 1,2,3,6,7 and random episodes of season 5 and 8. Lets us Fly For Fun I have also started picking up mmorpg again this year, I have tried Conquer Online, Martial Heroes (doon online 2), Gunz and FlyFF. Martial heroes are a full 3D online martial arts game describing like the one in the martial arts novel and becoming a hero to fight the evil. It kinda like Chinese martial arts but the set is in martial art world. The story line and game play is kinda good but the draw back is the navigation and the chatting system sucks. To learn a skill or move you need a manual or master to teach you and it also allow relationship such as brotherhood and master pupil. The graphic is merely average so I stopped at level 15. I think it is waste of time if you cannot interact properly with others player. If you like martial art world then feel free to take a look http://eng.doonline.co.kr/ Conquer online had a good game play and feature especially good pk system but the draw back is it is a 2d game and the graphic sucks. So it is just wasting my time to reviewing it. If anyone interested to take a look just google it. Out of all 3, I like FlyFF the best, so I played it for a month now. FlyFF stand for Fly For Fun and it is a mmorpg that in some way resemble RO but is unique in its own way. It featured the first and only mmorpg that have a unique flying system. No others mmorpg have them yet. You can fly by using brooms or hover boards when you turn level 20. I am currently level 41 with more than 30 millions assets although I only 2 mil cash on hand right now. I already found one rare plug earring + 3 and demol earring + 3. Others include Intelring +1 and stam ring. I will be getting my second plug from the quest on level 43. Upgraded my whole lv 30 Sorain Set +3 and pierce it with earth element which give 4% extra defense, Flaming Staff +3, Fire+5. ![]() ![]() Fly for the first time Getting slayed by hobos ![]() ![]() Me and my brother My full glowing sorain suit with my +5 flaming stick in fire which cost about 5 mils all together. Semoz PB Warfare The alarm rang exactly at 0430 hours. I headed for my shower and preparing for what was ahead. We packed our own lunch and snacks. The transport is arriving at 0500 hours and dispatched as two unit of four in a separate automobile. The day ahead of us was much anticipated as an excited day. It was indeed a long journey, as we are going all the way to Ecuka for our warfare destination. All the way from Bundoora, to Hume highway through metropolitan ring road. Then through Northern ring road, to Echuka. Our warfare destination is at somewhere near mooma which is the Semoir paintball battlefield. Semoz Paintball is located just over the border in NSW. After we crosses the Echuka/Moama bridge, we continue out of Moama towards Deniliquin. After that travel for 12 km and crosses the railway line. We arrived at a rather off road dirt track Old Deniliquin Road which stretched 4 kilometer and stopped.
![]() The warfare was supposed to be starting at 0900 hours but we are pretty late as we are kind of lost when finding our way here to the battlefield. We reached the battlefield at about 0930. Everyone started emerging from their vehicles onto the drop zone group by group. We went to the officer in charge to register and paid our entrance fees and bought our compulsory 100 ammo after changing into the military camouflage outfit. We are all also geared up with the mask and goggles to protect our heads and eyes from any injuries that might arise. The wait was unbearable as we are all excited about the warfare ahead of us. After signed the clearance for the weapons and ammo, we are then preceded to the armory to receive our weapon which is a semi automatic rifle powered by compressed CO2 gas canisters. I was given a number 56 ammo vault. We are briefed about the dangers involved, the safety and the weapon handling at the practice zone. Everyone was so eager and look forward for what awaiting them. One division consists of 25 infantries which further divided to two clans. It is very obvious that all the guys that came with the big military truck grouped together. They are all strong and brave militia while living all the gals in one group. Needless to say, I am in the gals team as our self-appointed group leader is Carolyn.
We were brought to the first preliminary zone where there is heaps of barriers make out of woods. The experience of shooting someone with the paint loaded semi automatic rifle was overwhelming as soon as I started to shoot enemies especially in the very near distance. When you heard ah or ouch, you can know for sure that is Caucasians while if you overheard aiyak or aah, you can know for sure that you comrades got hit and need medics. Basically each battle is mission based such like capturing flags and bring it to the enemy barrel at the base. Defending or attacking a fortress. Some mission, each infantry are only given one life which mean if you get shot once, you are out. Some mission if you get shot, you must tag the barrel at the base before you can enter the battlefield again or get tagged by a comrade.

Yay, I finally watched I'm Sorry, I Love You Mianhada Saranghanda Just finished my presentation, been through hell lots of test this few weeks.. Minh just gave me the KBS Mini drama series, I'm Sorry, I Love You Mianhada Saranghanda. This drama is quite a hit during last year. Although I haven't watch this series, I think it gonna be great. There is so much other series that I wanted to watch such like Full House. This is the first time I will be viewing a korean drama series from KBS. I had only seen two Japanese drama series before, the infamous GTO by Takeshi and Beautiful Life about a hairdresser which fall in love with a paralysed girl (Takako Tokiwa). Click Here for info about the drama series that I blogged about before. Review on MISA ̾ϴ Ѵ I kinda like eun-chae cloth during first and second episode which is very nice.
The main character become so dull already, after the bullet got into his head. yet he acted more psyco like than before.. It the first episode, he is so man... Moo-hyuk like to stand by the entrance very much and he will stand there whole day without budging eventhough it is rainingand and apparently he thinks it is very cool. Moo-hyuk like to carry people around While Eun-chae like to squat when she sad They used eye drop generously. Those people in that movie can walk all day long. There is unlimited number of chips in a one packet. One packet of chips can last them the whole day chewing without non stop. Girls can be kidnap easily by hurling them into a car and drive them away. Grabbing someone hand is the way to stop them avoiding you or running away. I like the part where they are making kakdoogi.. it is so funny where he poured a jar of water into it. I don't know why when I am watching the drama, especially the last few episode, my heart ached so much. I even ended up weeping for a few times.. The subtitles for the last episode is really out of snyc due to that subtitles encoded in a different fps. It took me a while to realised that and to adjust the ratio back to normal. This drama [KBS] Mini Drama Series - I'm Sorry, I Love You Mianhada Saranghanda (2004) really an extreme story about death-defying love. This KBS series Sorry, I Love You won the Best Picture Award at the 32nd Korean Broadcasting Awards held on July 21 by the Korean Broadcasters Association.

Kiss The Messenger Kiss The Messenger by Jessica Findlay I anxiously punch his email address into Messenger. Would he be online? Success. He's there. It's lust at first type. A few months ago, I decided to crash at my cousin's house in Toronto after a Christmas party. His friend was visiting and we ended up talking and flirting before I called it a night. The next morning I was searching my coat pockets for lip gloss when I came across a business card. It was blank except for an email address belonging to the cute boy, Ryan. Since adding my new friend to my growing list of Messenger contacts, we've been getting to know each other through brief and entertaining conversations over the computer. Although we don't live in the same city and I haven't seen him since, we regularly chat, incorporating winking faces into our conversations. In person, I'm really not a very good winker. Luckily, there's MSN Messenger "It's huge," said Anabel Quan-Haase, a professor of media, information, and technoculture at the University of Western Ontario, who is studying Messenger use on campus. "It's only going to get bigger." Cellphones offer a similar convenience of mobility, but there seem to be more advantages to typing than talking, as many people regularly use Messenger on their cellphones. Quan-Haase explains that when talking on the phone, you have no idea if the person is there and have to go through the formalities of introduction. It can also be expensive, she said. With Messenger you can get to the point quickly, while having five or 10 different conversations at the same time. Launched by Microsoft in the summer of 1999 to compete with other instant messaging programs such as ICQ, MSN Messenger (commonly referred to as MSN or Messenger) has been taking off. Among the 18 million Canadians who regularly use the Internet, 10 million are registered with the MSN network. There's nothing to it. Search for a friend by using their email address. If they have Messenger, it sends them a message asking if they want to be on your list. If they accept, the chatting can start as soon as both friends are using the program by double clicking on a name. The free download is more than just exchanging instant conversation with friends and family. Want to send a hug? Click on the hug icon. Want someone to think they're funny? Type LOL (laugh out loud) or put an action in asterisks to show you're laughing, such as *giggle*. There are also ways to send pictures, files and facial icons to show emotions. Above all, the biggest appeal to instant messaging is that it's fun - especially when it comes to relationships. "It's so easy," said Heather Keith, a master of science student at the University of British Columbia. Online banter also eliminates the potential for awkward silences and missed opportunities. "How many times have you walked away from talking with someone you like and wished you had said something funny or witty?" said Keith, 26. "On MSN there's time to think about what you're going to say." The ease of saying hello online isn't news. Even back in 2001, a University of Miami psychology study showed people who communicate over a computer say they feel more free, uninhibited and comfortable, than in face-to-face communication. The study also showed that people enjoyed face-to-face conversation more, if it was preceded by online communication. "If students participate in some form of computer-mediated communication prior to a discussion, then those discussions are likely to be enhanced." "I definitely think it's good for testing the waters," said Will Kostelynk, a business student at the University of Manitoba. Last Halloween, Kostelynk met a woman at a bar who was taking pictures on her digital camera of him in his costume. She requested his email address to later send him the pictures. When she did, she also added him to her MSN and the conversation began flowing. "We chit chatted for a bit and then I used MSN to ask her out to a movie," he said. "It's a good and safe way to get to know someone a little better." But some Messenger conversations are not so innocent. It's no secret that many university students like to drink, often referring to alcohol as "liquid courage" when it comes to making the moves. While students tend to feel extra confident soberly typing their feelings, typing under the influence has been known to take the conversation to a whole new level. "MSN booty calls happen all the time after a night at the bar," said Krista Leck, 22, who studies nutrition at Acadia University, a school where all students have laptop computers. Asking for late-night romance of any kind isn't as intimidating when it's all type and no action. "If you don't know how they'll respond you could always add a winking face, as though you might be joking. On the phone, it's more embarrassing," she said. But, sometimes instant messages aren't instant enough. After a night of flirting with a guy at the bar, Leck was on Messenger seeing where things would go. By the time she received an invitation to come over, it was too late. "I passed out between messages," said Leck, admitting she probably wouldn't have if she had been talking on the phone. "I guess I missed my chance." Candace Skinner has been in a long-distance relationship for more than three years and doesn't consider the phone as a desirable option for frequent communicating. "If you phone someone four times a day, it's annoying" said Skinner, 22, who introduced her boyfriend to Messenger. "If you message them four times a day it doesn't seem to be a problem K You can just message about something as it comes up." With Skinner studying occupational therapy in Toronto and her boyfriend working on a freightliner in the Atlantic Ocean, Messenger is their obvious connection. "He can be gone for three or four months at a time," she said. "When he goes into international waters, it's too costly to call." Just as instant messaging can easily bring couples together, it can also tear them apart. "There are most definitely downfalls to MSN," said Greg Uremovich, a recreation student at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ont. "Something that was meant to be sarcastic can be taken the wrong way. Also, many people say things that they wouldn't say in a face-to-face conversation, and that could be bad," he said. As a channel for unrestricted communication, Messenger can facilitate a gateway for cheating. Unless partners reveal passwords to each other, it is difficult to know who's typing what to whom. "Depending on what type of flirting is going on between two people, I think it can be considered cheating," said Uremovich. "I wouldn't want my girlfriend flirting on MSN and if I found out, I probably wouldn't be too happy." Regardless of what MSN Messenger is and isn't doing for relationships, its popularity is continuing to grow. "We're going to see instant messaging being used more in the next generations," said Quan-Haase, whose research will continue over the next three or four years. "If your friends have it, you'll have it. No one wants to feel disconnected." "It's here to stay," said Andrew Mills, a Grade 12 student at Rothesay Netherwood School in Rothesay, N.B, who goes online everyday after school until he goes to sleep. "It's like the fast food of communication -- it may be unhealthy, but it's quick, easy and temporarily satisfying." Mills, 18, explains Messenger also plays a big part in the high school dating scene because everyone uses it. However, he hasn't had much luck. A girl he wanted to date found out he liked her and immediately rejected him online. "It was devastating, but I've moved on," he said. With hours of Messenger conversations with Ryan, I'm hoping to take my online relationship offline. After all, a *MWAH* over Messenger never beats a real kiss. Saturday, July 23, 2005

A belated birthday present I overslept today and missed the early lecture today on biochemistry. Today was the second week of my second semester and I already missed to lectures. It is already noon when I woke up today and I hurried had my brunch and shower. I came to the university unprepared for my clinical biochemistry peer group questions. It was like usual where I ended up referencing my peers works, hehe. ![]() After the tedious work of doing my peer group questions, my friends gave me a belated birthday present. It was enclosed in a fine-looking silver paper box wrapped in a pink plastic bag which they think is girlie. It is a very nice brownish 120 x 22 cm scarf that knitted by one of them. Thanks MKNY for their present. ![]() Here is a funny picture to share for today : Running Vans, not quite. Monday, July 18, 2005
One week vacation at Rye (somewhere near portsea) It is the day, the day where my parents arrived in Melbourne on last?s last?s last Sunday. It is already one and half year that I didn?t see my parents, missed them so much. My parents brought a lot of things for me and my brother. On the first day on Monday, like usual we went around Melbourne driving eating air. Although we been to Melbourne before, but we aren?t familiar with the Melbourne and we have to drive around to find our way. Of course we get lost a lot of time, making illegal U-turns, ignoring no turning sign, speeding, driving on the tram lane, being horned by people for switching lane the last minutes, get lost on the freeway and have to travel a extra a few kilometers in order to find the nearest viable exits. I finally decided to drop microbiology 2 and forgoed my chance to do medical microbiology 1 and 2 during the third year to do general pathology instead. My exams results for the previous semester come out last week, it wasn?t too bad. I got 3 credits and 1 pass for human physiology. Anyway that?s for now.
